  • Visit KAIST Portal during the course registration period – Register at [Academic System]
  • In case registration is not completed within the course registration period:
    Submit to the Leadership Center the application form for alteration/cancellation of course registration within the course registration alteration period.

Information on taking Ethics and Safety course
Undergraduate and graduate students should take "Ethics and Safety" as below in order to graduate. This course does not require you to go through official registration but to visit its website (https://eethics.kaist.ac.kr) logging in with your portal ID, then take lectures and exams.

Period for course taking
  • Students admitted before 2017: Semester desired for graduation 40 days before the degree award date
  • Students admitted in 2018, 2019: Completion within the second semester based on the current semester
  • Students admitted in 2020 and thereafter:Before the mid-term exam period of the first semester after enrollmen
  • Students admitted in 2021 and thereafter: Before the beginning of classes of the first semester of freshman year
Note
  • To complete Ethics and Safety, you must pass exams getting more than 80 points for all sub-courses while in school.
  • If you take the exam, you can see whether you have passed or not at 'My page' on the right
    corner of the website. The grades will be marked automatically on their report cards at the end of the semester.
    (Students admitted after 2018: To be marked as “meeting graduation requirements” in graduation assessment system.)
  • If you have already completed Ethics and Safety when in the Master's course, it is unnecessary for you to retake it.
